Overwhelmed and burned out

Pros

A good place to get a broad experience and work with some really great people. There's a 20 word minimum for this to post, but I really can't think of anything else I would categorize as positive.

Cons

The company sells services/programs before they are ready to be implemented. Employees are left figuring out work arounds and trying to explain to clients why what they are paying for isn't working. Training in many jobs is almost non-existent. You sink or swim. Good people quit because they just can't take the stress. Staffing on projects is completely unrealistic. Management is located in its own building in Waltham, while everyone else is in Massachusetts is 20 miles away in Billerica.

Pros

There are many good hard working focused middle management persons within the Company. It seems that some upper management has lost control and priority of day to day activities. Some Managers need to take ethical behavior coursework based on their language, inuendos, and overall lack of professional style. There are new persons coming to leadership roles from other industries and having impact on business direction and team members (cause for dismissal).

Cons

There is a profound lack of working your way up to more senior roles. Divisional splits also represent huge challenges in credibility, project direction, tasks, budgets, projects. There is a definite lack of defined policies. Despite the Company growth rate, inadequate business policy exists, adding confusion to daily direction. Huge knowledge loss as many persons leaving the Company. Outdated SOP's and GOP's. Lack of real business roadmap complicates division direction and stability. Many projects that are not led properly and huge wastes of resources and money.
