      Pros

      I joined Pariveda over two years ago, to evangelize and teach UCD methods and Design Thinking to as many Fins as possible. With the support of the executive and management teams, I successfully shared my knowledge and experience across all nine Pariveda offices. I was part of a group that worked together to create a Design Thinking Challenge, UCD Ambassadors, and provided opportunities for "Fins" to develop these skills while working on projects. It was a privilege to work alongside so many smart, creative and wonderful professionals.

      Cons

      The leadership changed 3 times in the 2 years I was there. This instability and a strong IT job market has encouraged attrition.

      Pros

      My projects are challenging and I am constantly learning. Initially, I was uncomfortable being constantly pushed out of my comfort zone, but later realized it’s exactly why I learned a lot very quickly. My team is highly collaborative both professionally and personally.

      Cons

      None so far. Some of the 'cons' are a result of the consulting industry, not specific to Pariveda

      Pros

      -Good levels of autonomy and control over my work -Heavy focus on personal development -Do a good job hiring people that are easy to work with -Small teams means high level of exposure to the inner workings of projects

      Cons

      -While they do a good job minimizing travel it is just sort of the nature of consulting, so if that's a dealbreaker this job might not be for you.
