Pros

Pariveda and its clients provide unique and challenging opportunities to learn new skills. Pariveda exemplifies what it means to put its people first and reinvests continuously in each employee's personal and professional growth. Furthermore, each employee has a clearly defined career development path that does not rely on "who you know" to earn a promotion. This is the most exciting place I've worked and I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.

Cons

Projects can be very challenging and require you to learn new skills and technologies. For some, the pace at which you are expected to learn and develop can be daunting.

Pros

- Great for recent college graduates because we have a variety of major cities that people can easily request to be based out of, and the work atmosphere is very social and inviting. - Competitive salary & benefits - Opportunity to work with a variety of different technologies across multiple industries - Plenty of responsibility given to new hires. Management consciously focuses on how to foster professional growth, and intentionally staffs employees in roles that will allow them to be challenged - Consulting with relatively little travel required. Onsite face-to-face interaction with the clients, but it is generally limited to your home city - Generally pretty interesting projects (you won't be on a staff aug project)

Cons

- Unlike working at a startup, you may not get to use the latest and greatest technologies because we can be limited to the technologies that our clients decide to use - Although you get compensated for mileage, sometimes commutes can be long depending on where you are staffed

Pros

Excellent pay, benefits, PTO but most importantly excellent career trajectory. In the 2+ years I have worked here, I have grown more as an individual, both personally and professionally, than in the 3 years of working for a Fortune 500 company. Besides working with top-notch people at all levels, the Expectations Framework is easily one of the best parts of working here. You know exactly what you need to do to get promoted (sometimes it's a little ambiguous) and it's up to you to get the job done. The team aspect of our job is unlike any other firm. We work together not just to get the job done but at the end of the day, the more our teams work together, the more they reap the benefits. There's not a limit on the # of promotions each year, so if you work with your project team successfully and help each other, you all get promoted. It's the same in our college interviews, the more a case team works together to be successful, the more likely we are to give out more offers to students. Another huge pro of working at Pariveda is the access to so many brilliant thinkers. Whether it's a conversation with our COO about trends in the marketplace, slack messages with Fins in other offices about traveling using only rewards points, or a casual after work hang out with your local Fins, you learn something new every day. Our senior management team all the way down to our recent campus hires are such well-rounded individuals with interests in a variety of things which makes working here such a joy. You constantly have new ways of connecting with others and discovering new things in your local market. (Makes moving to a new city so easy) Each office has different clubs for people to get together... from trivia night attendees to board game players to Netflix bingers, there is a group of Fins communicating about and meeting up for everything. This place truly is a little family, which when you realize how much time the average American works on a weekly basis, is a blessing these days.

Cons

Some offices lack the original culture that they originally started with but that's due to the firm growing significantly in recent years and with that have come some growing pains that are inevitable. Being in one of the larger offices and having the ability to interact with and visit smaller ones, you see how much the culture has changed but our larger offices are recreating a new culture that is a product of all the new personalities that have joined recently. It's much more of a melting pot than the traditional Boys Club run by management/ More of our large office Fins are making an effort to get involved and connect outside of 8-5 in order to create the same comradery that the smaller offices just naturally have starting off (i.e. when every Fin's efforts are needed to be successful)
