      technology powerhouse with single focus

      Pros

      Ability to do cool technology work. Don't require lots of specific skills, but expect a generalist approach, which keeps technologists challenged and excited

      Cons

      Seems to be somewhat of a caste system with insiders and outsiders. The insiders get the cooler assignments and the outsiders don't.

      Stuck in the 80's version of technology consulting

      Pros

      Good salaries, they pay well. Good benefits program too. Mostly very nice people, although they tend to the techy-nerd side. They do some good work, especially .Net and Microsoft solutions work. Very MS focused company, trying to get even deeper into MS relationships.

      Cons

      Will work you to death - mandatory 50 hours weeks, plus 1-2 nights per week of company functions. Lots of long hours, no OT pay. Like a gerbil on a treadmill. Lots of religious overtones, not a place for socializing, more of a work hard and pray model. Hiring tons of college grads, working them hard then replacing them in 2-3 years with fresh grads. Up or out, hierarchical consulting model invented by Andersen. Only room for a few at the top, but plenty of young fresh talent at the bottom.

      Opportunity to learn many things very quickly while helping to grow the company Variety of work and clients Extremely intelligent and hard working employees from top to bottom Transparency of review process and promotion Yearly company trip to a resort (along with a guest) Salary A lot of PTO Integrity

      Cons

      Crunch time on projects can make for some long hours Expectation that all employees should advance to the highest level may not be enticing for everyone
