Pros

Terrific management, very inclusive, benefits are fantastic, pay is very good, very supportive environment were nothing is of the table, concerns are looked at always. I have been with this company for almost 6 years, and I encourage anyone out there if you're lucky enough to score a role here - go for it - you will not be disappointed.

Cons

Not many to be honest, some delays particularly in my role in sparing but this is looked into constantly and being improved on a daily basis.

Pros

Supportive and Inclusive Culture – Team members are genuinely helpful, and leadership encourages collaboration. Opportunities for Growth – Plenty of chances to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities. Work-Life Balance Respected – Flexible schedules and understanding managers make it easier to balance personal life.

Cons

The benefits package is outstanding, but compensation could be more competitive given the level of responsibility and performance expectations. Processes Still Evolving – Some areas could benefit from more structure, but the company is consistently improving. High Expectations – Leadership sets the bar high, which can be demanding, but motivates you to do your best.

What It's Really Like: Review from a 10-year Plus Employee

Pros

Park Place is a growing technology company that currently has several thousand employees all over the world. I have worked for PPT for over 10 years. Throughout that time, there have been countless opportunities to learn new things, collaborate with other teams, participate in strategic projects and advance and grow my career. If you are looking for a place that is small enough where you can make an impact [and be known] but not too large where you only see a tiny part of the company, then this is the perfect place for you. Leadership & Growth: I have seen posts on Glassdoor that cite leadership weaknesses at PPT but those are far and few in between [and frankly, every company has some mix of strong and weak leaders]. Most leaders are helpful, kind and genuinely want to have positive relationships within their team and outside of their team. As a tech company, we have to stay at the top of our game which means strategic growth is always top of mind. Does this mean things can be chaotic and no two days are alike? Absolutely. But, if you thrive in chaos and you enjoy working in a high-paced environment, then you will enjoy PPT. The company is also very acquisitive which adds an interesting dynamic of work to integrate acquisitions into the PPT umbrella. Benefits & Compensation: Benefits are PPT are at the top tier compared to other companies. Furthermore, compensation has always been fair in my opinion (not just for me personally but for the team I lead as well). While everyone would love to make more money, PPT has competitive salaries that are appropriate for the job responsibilities and those who have advanced their career at PPT do see compensation adjustments to align with those promotions. Culture: Truly one of the best there is.

Cons

All companies have cons . There is nothing notable here to cite other than there tends to be more work than there are employees. While this can be perceived as a con, in my opinion, it's a pro. It means employees get to do different projects, work with different teams and there's always no shortage of work (much better problem to have than to be working for a company where there is not enough work). This company does have roles that don't work a straight 40 hours/week (Operations, Sales, IT & Finance are some of the notable ones). Depending on the team, there are many jobs where certain weeks have deadlines and teams put in more than 40 hours. Again, if you truly enjoy what you do, this is not a con and can help accelerate your career growth. If, however, you are looking for a fixed 40 hours/week, then this might not be the place for you.
