Pros

The ONLY pros after a year and a half of working here was my coworkers. We became close due to the extreme amount of stress and pressure to keep the company afloat that only seemed to continually let us down.

Cons

Where to begin... We went from extreme to extreme, with too much work for the amount of staff to very little. Management prides themselves on being "transparent", but continually makes very shady decisions with little thought to how it affects employees. They try to jump on the bandwagon for the next big thing in medical diagnostics - but with no feasible idea on how to actually execute it. They rely heavily on poorly trained lab techs instead of hiring (more expensive) CLSes. Staff was overworked and underpaid and left to make do with the bare minimum. I definitely don't see this company doing well in the future with the current management and founders. Greed is consuming this company and it won't be surprising if it goes bankrupt soon.

Pros

No experience necessary, which is great for new graduates.

Cons

Poorly managed. New processes are vetted properly to make sure they function well. Staff are not always trained and certified to be doing the processes. Technicians are supposed to be under CLS supervision but that's not true ~ 70% of the time and even then they aren't trained either and not well versed in the processes required to get the work done. They can be flexible, but that can also change on a dime. What rules are enforced and for whom is scattered across the board and inconsistent. Recent graduates also are easy targets for being mistreated. If there is an issue with mistreatment or harrassment, management will turn a blind eye, victim blame or send it to HR so they can turn a blind eye, victim blame, and in some cases encourage the behavior further by promotion/ raises. Pay is in the middle/low range for the work put in. They have a culture club that likes to plan activities. This is a decent diversion as most of workers are pretty great people. This is a bit married as it misses the other end of company culture which is creating a sense of safety and inclusion. If they could tighten up on the amount of badmouthing, outright harrassment and discrimination it'd be more tolerable. Overall, they don't treat their employees well and that shows in the high turnover rate. While this is often masked as being a good "stepping stone" for recent graduates the truth is that it's overall a dead end, underpaid, overworked and mismanaged place to work.
