Pros

Unique technology that supports NVMe via TCP/ROCE/Infiniband today. Literally the fastest storage option in the marketplace. Very reasonable price point for a solution that is usually about ten times faster than the competition. Many patents that protect the company's ability to sustain its performance advantage for years to come.

Cons

Needs help with brand awareness. Gartner, IDC, and Blocks and Files know about Pavilion, but that is their job to know.

Pros

There are no Pros for this company. If you like your freedom, please DO NOT join this company. Technology is reasonably good but you can find that in any other startup such as Vast, Pensando or any other competitors. Remember Storage is becoming commodity it doesn't add much value to your skills.

Cons

Very poor leadership, founders are just selfish and all they care is how to get an exit by trying to squeeze the employees. They treat employees as slaves and make them work more than 12 hrs on a consistent and deliberate basis. The founders take a nap during the day and schedule meetings for US team members from evening anytime between 7 pm to 11:30 pm on a regular basis. The worst situation is that the engineers gets abused from time to time for not being able to meet unreasonable demands of software delivery. Management consistently wants to low ball the offer during joining with great promises of adjusting salary and stock options after 1 year. However they will never bring up the topic and actually follow through the promise. They are looking for people who can just do things as puppets and not use their creativity to solve any problems. The sales team has no clue on how to sell the storage system; just try to find out their target revenue v/s actual revenue on a quarterly basis and you will understand where the company stands. The support team has pathetic leadership who does not understand the difference between storage and servers and every case is an escalation for engineering team.
