Pros

Great employees and friends from this company and good PTO.

Cons

Young management, they honestly don’t know how to handle tough situations, they are not very educated on sales and provide no help or assistance or helpful career advice. You have to know people in order to get promoted here (especially into management). Pax8 severely underpays for the industry. If your looking to make money and your not a TOP account manager, don’t expect to make much money here. Quotas constantly change and they do not set you up for success to hit quota. Pax8 will claim they care about their employees but they clearly do not. They will dangle the fact that in the long run Pax8 will be worth a lot and that it’s worth it to stay and wait out all the changes . But changes have been happening for the past 2 + years and they keep saying it will level out and it has not. They also will promise you promotions in the future and then go back and change the promotion or tell you there are “no spots available” so you don’t get promoted as fast as they say. I would stay away.

I am sorry that you are not experiencing the support and culture that we strive to create at Pax8. Our employees' well-being is literally our #1 goal, and we are constantly looking at where we are succeeding and what needs improvement. We invest heavily in the professional development of our managers, even before they step into a leadership role, to prepare them to handle what comes their way. If at any time an employee feels that they are not getting the support that they need, we highly encourage them to go to their Directors, VP, C-Suite member, or People Ops Business Partner for guidance. It is true that we have changed quotas, while at the same time providing better sales tools and aligning sales territories to increase success. Although it can be disruptive, we make these decisions with much thought with the end goal of creating greater success for our sales teams and providing an elevated experience for the partners that they serve. Surround yourself with people that care about you, in a working environment that most people can only dream of. Strap in on a white-knuckle ride of self-development and technical progression that only this industry can offer. Learn about all of the hyper cloud providers, and the latest technologies, including AI and machine learning. From social activities – from snacks and energy drinks; all the way through to pension, healthcare you get everything you would expect from an employer that cares.

Cons

The fast-paced change that brings all of the opportunities isn't for everyone, so if you're not comfortable with working hard and playing hard every day it might not be for you. But if you are cut out for it, and up for the challenge, you'll thrive within Pax8.

Pros

The pay is good The colleagues are awesome Management is transparent and open you your opinion, no matter what it is! Saying 'No' is a valid option here - Seriously, have you experienced that anywhere else??? Treated like a Rock Star, even on your worst day Anyone is willing to dive on a call and talk you through pretty much anything. Career development is a priority, but you are not forced to always be developing yourself for the next level, if you are happy in your role, you can focus on that and that is just fine Full remote is an option, if it works for you

Cons

You'll feel guilty that you've got such an amazing job and your friends don't!
