      Pros

      My manager is relatively competent and seems to look out for me. The engineer organization is lucky to have an amazingly human CPO. It would be so much worse without her.

      Cons

      Pax8 is a strange place. There are pockets of good. As a worker, I have serious doubts on the capability of leadership to make cohesive decisions. I doubt mobility for promotions and raises in this new era for Pax8. Changes to talent management do not seem promising at all.

      It's a terrible place to work, but since it's remote, it's ideal for juggling multiple jobs.

      There are no advantages; the pay is terrible, and the company isn't profitable.

      Cons

      Two years ago, I bought into the Pax8 hype, but now the company is a disaster. The managers and directors are some of the most clueless people you'll ever encounter. John Street bailed because he realized his business model was failing. MSPs are incredibly difficult to work with, and I'm surprised a major breach hasn't happened yet. The Head of Support informed everyone that they're trying to implement AI to reduce staff, and the CCO mentioned in the all-hands meeting that no job is permanent. It's almost laughable.

      Pax8 cold chaos

      Growing business, fast paced environment

      Cons

      Chaotic with poor leadership. Product is a hot mess with people frantically trying to put out product with no forethought. I saw plenty of heartless decisions being made with little thought to people cost. The almighty dollar is all that matters. Pax8 does not care at all about its people.
