Thank you for leaving us a review. While we always appreciate hearing you value the working environment and rewards it is worrying to hear you're having such a negative experience in terms of your day to day work. If you don't feel able to discuss these issues with your manager directly please reach out to your POps Business Partner or People Advisor. Pros

Growth Opportunities: The company offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development. I had the chance to work on diverse projects that significantly enhanced my skills. Think of it as discovering hidden gems in a plot twist. Innovative Environment: The company fosters an innovative work environment. There were many opportunities to collaborate with talented colleagues on cutting-edge projects. It’s like being part of an epic quest with a fellowship of extraordinary colleagues. (Unfortunately this isn't as bright and active as it was in the start-up phase) Sales and Marketing Culture: If you’re in the sales and marketing side of the organization, it feels like you’re living in a fairy tale. It’s a great culture with lots of funding, and everyone seems to have a great time at work. Imagine a land where everyone is amazing, and every day feels like a festival.

Cons

1. Management Issues: Here’s where the plot thickens. There were significant issues with management that impacted my overall experience. Some leaders lacked effective communication skills, leading to confusion and frustration among team members. It was like trying to follow a map drawn by someone who doesn’t believe in directions. 2. Work-Life Balance: The workload was often overwhelming, making it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Long hours and high-pressure deadlines contributed to burnout, turning what could have been a cozy mystery into a stressful thriller. Company Culture: While the cover promises a positive culture, the overall executive leadership and certain pockets of the company did not uphold the company values. There were noticeable cliques and corporate drama that could rival any soap opera. Leadership didn’t address concerns about lower-quality leaders in time, resulting in a toxic work environment. It was like being a character in a tv soap opera or drama where you just couldn't get away from the gossip. Departmental Disparities: If you’re not in sales or marketing, it’s like being a background character in the story. Other parts of the company and different departments are not funded or supported as well. Their workload and actual impact on the business are not recognized or appreciated as much, leading to a sense of neglect and undervaluation. It’s like the subplot that everyone forgets. Competitive Benefits: The benefits package was not as competitive as those offered by other tech companies in the market. This was a significant drawback, especially given the demanding nature of the work. Think of it as finding out the treasure at the end of the quest is just a coupon.

Thank you for leaving us a review and your balance of recognition and some clear, constructive feedback. We know communication is an area we can improve on due to the rate and pace of change and are making significant investments in our internal comms team. Since you left us we have also launched a new set of Behaviors that set out clear, observable standards that are expected of everyone and are much easier to hold everyone accountable to, being less open to interpretation. We continue to review our benefits offering vs market and have invited all departments to participate in a common planning exercise allocating resources and investment in line with our strategic priorities for the coming year. While there is always room for improvement, we have been working hard to drive improvements. Thank you for your contribution to Pax8 and I wish you all the best for the future.

Pros

Their training and support system help you grow to been successful in the cloud industry but you have to be prepared to put in the work. Their benefits package is fantastic. And work life balance is incredible.

Cons

Their affinity for growth stymied professional progression when I arrived there because of the major influx in employees. They will keep moving the goal posts.
