Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. It’s disappointing to read that parts of your time with us felt negative, but we appreciate you highlighting the benefits you enjoyed as well. We recognize the concerns you’ve raised around management consistency, partner support, and role expectations. While experiences can vary across teams, these areas need to be strong for everyone to succeed. We’re actively addressing many of the challenges you mentioned through recent work, including strengthening our Partner Success organization and broader operational improvements to better support account teams. Career progression at Pax8 is based on continuous performance and readiness—not location—and we’re continuing to evolve our pathways so opportunities are clear and accessible across all regions. Thank you again for your feedback—it plays an important role in guiding where we continue to improve.

Not the Pax8 I Signed On For

Pros

The people doing the work. There are still some great people left at the lower levels but they are quickly leaving or being outsourced to Manila.

Cons

Pax8 is not the same company I signed on for. The culture has gone in the wrong direction and people are no longer the center of the business. They say business is personal but they mean only to the executives and their bank accounts. It is said more often than not now that “it’s just business” as the rationale for decision. Especially those that impact people. There is continued creation and recruitment for executives with a complete lack of attention to where and how the actual work will get done. The only clear goal is for profitability and the path to getting there is riddled with land mines and fire drills because there is no cohesive strategy. You cannot focus on dozens of top priorities (50+ every year) in addition to the day to day work. As the saying goes if everything is important nothing is important and that shows in the new Pax8.

Thanks for sharing your experience although it was difficult to read in parts. Thank you for sharing your positive experiences of working with your colleagues, we’re very proud of our people. We hear your concerns about culture, priorities and execution. We’re sharpening focus to fewer, clearer priorities and strengthening planning so “fire drills” are the exception. We’re growing teams across levels and regions, and agree execution capacity must match our goals. If you’re open to it, please share more via our People Business Partners or our anonymous feedback channels so we can act on your feedback. Thank you for helping us improve.

Very low pay

Pros

co-workers are nice. Most people are very helpful.

Cons

Extremely low pay for a major city, but a lot of reps live with their parents to mitigate the minimum wage. Micromanagement is a common theme. Lots of work for not a lot of reward.
