Great place to work, quickly becoming the best!
Pros
I have worked at PayJunction for 4 years. It has always been a great place to work and each year that passes, it becomes even better. The Executive team takes initiative to make PayJunction the best possible place for their employees to work. They truly care and it is evident through their actions. They implement numerous highly vetted tools to allow employees to do their job efficiently and well. They ensure you have all the resources needed to succeed. Recently, they rolled out the company's core values, one of them being "own it". This value represents the idea that you hold yourself accountable for all outcomes, see tasks through to completion and take the time to do something right the first time. This leads to the production of high quality work. This is the value I professionally resonate most with at PayJunction. During my time here, I have learned the skills needed to be a top performer. I have learned how to produce very high-level, detail oriented, quality work. For myself, this is a source of pride. I am so grateful to PayJunction and the people I have worked with for equipping me with the tools to be successful at any professional goals I set out to accomplish.
Cons
PayJunction is rapidly becoming a company I would consider to be "the best place to work". This does not happen over night, especially at PayJunction where anything that is going to be newly implemented goes through a meticulous vetting process to ensure its success. While it is important to scale up in this manner, I feel employees will have to be very patient while PayJunction works towards this dream-state (build the dream is another value PayJunction is dedicated to). I don't think PayJunction has too long a ways to go, but one thing I feel needs more immediate attention is compensation analysis. PayJunction hired a director of Finance who is supposed to perform this function, but when they shared the Finance roadmap company-wide, compensation analysis for all employees was not on the list. I think it is important to prioritize this if PayJunction wants to attract and keep top talent. PayJunction expects a lot of their employees, so in return I think their compensation should be prioritized and evaluated regularly at the Finance level. In the meantime, PayJunction does offer an excellent benefits package. For some people, I think this could make up for any lacking compensation.
