Pros
I have loved my 8 years at PayPal. Great benefits, good people, and a focus on their mission it seems.
Cons
They say people don't leave companies, they leave management. That is the case for me. Terrible churn for the last three years, with four re-orgs after a major internal merger of C-level offices. Each re-org has been worse for my team and moral. Less that ethical decisions, illegal retaliation and a very strong management bias when it comes to promotions and layoffs. I have not been promoted in 7 years despite providing extremely stable and popular products for my customers, because I am on a smaller team focused on the corporate side of the business.
