      technology, perks, benefits, pay scale, tremendous co-workers

      Cons

      Very very political. Opportunities are now based on who you know not based on your work effort/results. Senior Management does not listen to mid-level folks, both IC and Managers.

      Some great, smart people to work with; Decent salary and benefits, but you will work for them (see below).

      Pockets of politics that truly prevent innovation (I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't experience it for myself); Work/Life balance can be challenging;

      Pros

      new issues, fast-paced. Interesting work.

      Cons

      There is a lot of bloated management who only take care of themselves and their "favorites." About 20% of the people do 80% of the work (new version of 80/20 rule), but those aren't usually the people getting promoted because no one wants them to leave their jobs or nothing would get done.
