      Paychex needs to be better at their acquisitions.

      Pros

      Overall they have a great benefit structure and their compensation structure is decent as well. Their brand is strong in the marketplace and their overall Paychex strategy is in line with what the market is asking for.

      Cons

      As Paychex acquires new businesses, they do not have a great strategy on how to fold those products, people and strategy into theirs. During my 2 years at Paychex, I personally had 2 Direct Managers, 3 Zone Managers, and 3 strategies all due to the fact that the go to market was ever changing, along with the expectations. Having the ever changing expectations made it extremely difficult to meet goals but also made the work environment challenging.

      might be micromanaged, super competitive market, the grind of hunting for new clients can become exhausting

      Great Management, empowered sales staff, always adding value products that clients actually want. Fantastic training

      Interal systems are rather disorganized, commission structure is confusing, lack of support for remote employees
