      Was once Paychex proud…it’s gone now.

      Pros

      -once you made it, you made it. -low micro management. -Best technology in HCM.

      Cons

      -Everything has went downhill from when I started 8 or 9 years ago. -They took away inbounds for outside reps and brought in virtual for inbounds. Why? There’s no other company that has that philosophy. -your succes depends on your accountant partners and banks. If your CPAs had a terrible rep in the past. Good luck. If your banks are slow and not known really, good luck. I’ve been successful here. Conference, fast start almost all awards I’ve obtained. But I’m mentally tired. I will say if you’re lucky to land 2 or 3 great accountants who like you, who constantly refer. You barely have to work lol but I’m ready for a new chapter.

      Pros

      Benefits and health insurance are good. Pay is okay. Used to have free food 1-2x a month in the office but that stopped as of a few months ago.

      Cons

      Removing remote work options and forcing everyone back into the office. My entire team is remote due to their offices closing and my supervisor is across the country, so I have to come into an office and sit by myself. Paychex is outsourcing all “back office work” to India and contracting companies in India to do payroll and tax work.
