Pros

The atmosphere that I have experience in a daily basis has been amazing. The people I work with all seem very genuine and nice. As a new employee, I expected to come in to my department and feel completely lost and overwhelmed... But I honestly feel the exact opposite. There are friendly faces everywhere. While the workload is demanding and you are very busy, you will still feel like anyone and everyone is there to help you along the way. My coworkers, as well as management, see it in a way that if they can help you be productive, then the company is productive as well.

Cons

I don't view this as a con, but others might.... It's a large and growing technology company. With size and growth, there will be constant changes. Nothing stays the same. Some people may not like that and are hoping for consistency their job life... Well you won't find that here... The only consistent thing is that we are consistently changing. So if you can deal with that then you should be good to go!

Pros

Good medical benefits. Decent pay. Opportunity for overtime

Cons

Very immature environment. Very young working peers. A lot of empty egos. There seems to be a lot of turnover. The overall product is impressive, unfortunately, the software that is utilized is archaic. They are trying to update their software but they are far behind the product. Horrible work life balance. Hard to recommend this job unless you are trying to establish yourself within a career and need the experience to put on a resume.

Pros

Pay can be great. Cheap health insurance if you don't have a family.

Cons

Where do I begin? No work-life balance. I get it. It's sales. But a company that doesn't value its employees' mental health is a dangerous place to work. Horrible PTO policy. You're a software company, Paycom. Do you not research what other tech companies are doing for their employees and the benefits of allowing more time to relax? I didn't see the point in making good money without having the time to spend it to travel and explore at least once a year. High turnover. I mean, with no time off and management that doesn't value your mental health, why wouldn't you want to quit? I did. No diversity whatsoever. Feel free to search Paycom on LinkedIn for verification. This may be more of an opinion... but I am 99% sure a lot of these "Great Company!" reviews are fake. It's easy to tell by reading them.

We understand that the demands of our sales positions are high and we make that as transparent as possible for our applicants. We know that these positions will not be an ideal fit for everyone and are saddened to see your experience was not more positive. We are proud of the employee reviews we have and would point out that not everyone shares the same views as you do, and it’s an unfair assessment to project yours as the only valid experience. We will share your feedback with the leadership team and wish you the best.
