Pros

Affordable Insurance and cafeteria lunches.

Cons

Before I begin I want to say that this company had potential, its true; But a company that mass fires it's employees with no warnings just to say "we haven't had layoffs in years!" and fires people on a very regular bias that speak out against the companies horrible management and policies who spoke about it in a professional, confidential and legitimately concerned manner, and is incredibly behind on the times in terms of work from home, four day work weeks, and lacking competitive pay is all the red flags you honestly need to know right there alone. But to be brutally honest with you there is dozens and dozens of major concerns and problems I saw and heard about during my tenure and you will no doubt read through many here on this page all testifying the same exact thing one way or another. I will instead focus on my personal experiences, I was given three different training modules and tests, One was department specific to the electronic data interchange role. Whereas the other two, which did not apply to my job role, one of which was payroll accounting and the other was product sales training. Additionally, despite specifically being told that I was not able to give legal counsel over financial or product sales advice to clients. I was told by management that they had to be completed and passed with an 80% or higher. I completed my electronic data interchange training with a 94%, And I started the two other beforementioned trainings and immediately was notified that I barely did not pass the classes, only being 2 points off on one. I was of course very concerned and brought this up to my team lead telling him that the training was absolutely abysmal and what my next options were, who then assured me that after contacting and consulting with the HR team himself, that my job was secure and I would not have to redo the courses for the foreseeable future . Two entire months later, and well into taking live clients and having numerous job responsibilities, and with no verbal or written warnings over ANY disciplinary issues whatsoever, I was unexpectedly called into a meeting by my supervisor and was told that we will be separating for this sole reason alone. I said all of that to say this, if Paycom is the type of company that will let it's employees go without a care in the world because you did not pass some completely 110% made up tests and courses that have zero relevance to your actual adult career or for your specific applied job position, then literally why in world would you waste you time with them and give them the time of day. Read the recent reviews and even the more tenured people will say the same thing and plus more. Also, looking forward to the AI automated response or the word tract driven HR employee telling me they are sorry but they abide by the labor laws.
