Pros

Paycor employees have limitless opportunity to affect change. Career paths are flexible - you can pave your own path and play to your strengths. Paycor is full of strong talent - both at the leadership and independent contributor level. The culture is strong and inclusive.

Cons

Paycor operates extremely quickly - sometimes too quickly. Prioritizing new initiatives makes it hard to properly finish existing ones, and can lead to inefficient end-results and rework. Turnover in leadership positions can make for nebulous priority calls and many roadmap changes.

Pros

Paycor has been an absolute blast to work for! I came onboard during the COVID-19 Pandemic in August. I was looking for another opportunity after my hours were reduced at my previous employer and met some awesome people at Paycor who encouraged me to apply to their upcoming positions. My previous employer was a client of Paycor and I greatly admired how they handled things. The interview was very open and honest. I expressed what I was looking for and the recruiter helped me match my skills to my current opportunity. Although I had different plans for my career before COVID, the recruiter and manager informed me that I would be able to continue to grow in my field of interest at Paycor! I was blown away by the offer I received in terms of compensation and benefits! I immediately accepted the position. Having worked for Paycor for 3+ months, I am continually blown away by how they practice what they preach. The senior leadership team does a fantastic job of engaging me even though I work from home! I get constant updates on the overall performance of Paycor and get the opportunity to get involved virtually in many events. Our recent open-enrollment made my jaw drop. I have never worked somewhere that offered such generous PTO and Benefits. I am very excited to take advantage of them in 2021! Even though COVID shook the world, Paycor was quick to do the right thing by pursuing a Virtual First environment for employees. I was given all the tools I needed to be successful working from home! At the time of this review, it is my understanding that I will be able to work from home even after COVID! The values of the company are openly expressed by every person I have interacted with. I am happy to call Paycor my home!

Cons

I am the kind of person that loves interacting with people! Being virtual is fantastic but I do miss having the opportunity to develop personal relationships with my co-workers face to face. Luckily, I have been able to attend Virtual happy hours and charity events to fulfill this need. Besides being nitpicky about my own personal needs, I have yet to experience a true con of working at Payor.

Pros

Internally was hired from another team at Paycor. Super easy process and transition. Went through great formal training to help prepare me for my new team. Welcomed with open arms on new team. Great support from old manager about leaving, and new manager.

Cons

Work from Home was an adjustment, but after doing it for a few months ended up not being so bad.
