Pros

Paycor is really investing a lot of time and money in making this the best possible company to work for. They are adding a new CRM, helping us generate leads and activity, and going above and beyond any other company I have worked for. The pay is good, people are great, and I love the direction the company is going.

Cons

Paycor's name brand is not as well known in the Chicago area, so people "hearing" of us and getting my foot in the door is sometimes difficult.

Pros

Benefits are good and the pay isn't bad. Co-workers are great.

Cons

Non-existent HR. Apparently there is an HR department, but it must be there for recruiting purposes because there's not much there for existing employees. The focus used to be on taking care of the clients and the employees. Not any more. Now it seems to be all about numbers and volume. Turnover seems to be getting more frequent and the way some former employees were treated when they were being let go was awful.

Pros

Some local sales managers care, but they have no authority to make any decisions that matter. Company has seen some growth, but at great cost to its employees.

Cons

CEO and CSO are incredibly controlling and surround themselves with "yes" men/women who will carry out their greed-driven and short term strategies. You cannot trust or believe what senior leadership says. There is no interest in developing employees or promoting from within. You constantly chase a quota that is unattainable and are always watching your back. A true "what have you done for me lately" culture. You can make club one year and be fired the next. Do yourself and your career a favor and avoid this company.
