Cons
The PC payroll dept is constantly understaffed not to mention people out for vacation & other reasons, turnover is very high. Your client base needs to be 200 clients as soon as possible or you are looked upon as lacking time management skills. With Paycor still growing they say, the associates do anything from making sales calls to collection calls and of course relationship building contact that involves surveys clients take. Constantly fixing tax issues and training clients, don't forget to post payrolls while doing everything else. Monthly (yes, I said monthly) reviews are unfair & unrealistic. They're based on petty measures like how early can you make your client transmit their payroll... & yes there is always a problem client. Clients can hold for next avail rep so this is good & bad, some team members don't hesitate gloating & throwing you under the bus to the supervisor if anything goes wrong - no fault of yours or anything you could've controlled. Very juvenile!
