Pros

the pay, the pto, remote work. opportunity to learn hcm stuff to use in the future.

Cons

1. be VERY careful. some [management and fellow co-workers] will set you up to fail. expect to be lied to, directly to your face. expect them act like they didn't later. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING 2. work is COMPLETELY siloed 3. like high school and very cliquey [if you're not in it, expect minimum assistance, if any at all] 4. PLENTY of double talk [see number 1 again] 5. company went public waaaaaay TOO SOON 6. all good managers have been fired and replaced with more toxic corporate drones who don't care about anyone 7. training is horrible. expect the minimum. then you are thrown to the wolves 8. getting IT issues resolved is somewhat laughable 9. most of the original employees are rude and act like and think you are beneath them, and suffer from "too many Chiefs..." syndrome. [see number 3, 2, and 1 again] 10. meetings are LITERALLY and ONLY just for the sales teams and managers to give themselves a pat on the back. there are never meetings that give CS a pat on the back. if it wasn't for us, the business would not run. yet, we are continuously overlooked, never listened to, or taken seriously 11. managers play favorites 12. don't do the work surveys, they AREN'T anonymous 13. complete lack of diversity and inclusivity. [just look at the org chart] 14. the wrong people get promoted constantly, no matter what. the place is toxic. [see numbers 1, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 again] 15. you will find that implementation is a complete joke. 16. evident that paycor customers even hate paycor DON'T BELIEVE THE FOLLOWING: Take Care of Customers First: Our customers are our heroes. When they win, we win. BY CUTTING CORNERS. ONLY THE FAVORITES CAN DO THIS. Take Care of Each Other: There’s nothing better than working with friends who look out for you. SOME WILL HELP. THEY FAR AND FEW IN BETWEEN. [SEE NUMBERS 1,3, 4, 6, 9, 11, AND 14] Do the Right Thing: It’s not always the easy way – but it’s what really matters. COMPLETELY LAUGHABLE. NO, NO IT REALLY DOESN’T MATTER HERE. Have Fun Along the Way: Buckle up, it’s a fast-paced business! That’s why we celebrate the wins, laugh in the face of adversity and enjoy the ride. KINDA HARD WHEN YOU CAN’T GET HELP FROM ANYONE. [SEE NUMBERS 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15] Compete to Win: We embody the spirit of success in everything we do, in our habits and routines, our relationships, and in the energy and accountability we bring to the game. MORE LIKE COMPETE TO GET ASSISTANCE AND RESOLUTIONS. Think Big, Dream Big: Never say never! Solve problems, invent a better way, disrupt the status quo. WHEN YOU TRY TO DO THIS, IT’S A PROBLEM. TOXICICITY HAS RUN COMPLETELY UNCHECKED HERE WAAAAAAY TO LONG FOR ANYTHING TO REALLY ACTUALLY GET ACCOMPLISHED OR "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Paycor Is an Essential Priority” Why the “E” in DE+I? Because for Paycor, it’s about equity and equality. We want to build equitable opportunities for all underrepresented populations. We’re not perfect, but we do strive to make inclusion and belonging an everyday priority. When you join Paycor, you become part of a fast-growing team dedicated to success and belonging in all ways." ASK SOME OF THE EMPLOYEES THAT THIS IS MEANT TO BE FOR THAT ARE NO LONGER HERE. IT WILL BE EYE OPENING.
