Pros

Not many. There use to be plenty.

Cons

This company has lost its direction and has no idea where it’s going. Recruiters consistently oversell the opportunity in sales. Leadership makes changes more often than the wind changes directions. Senior people are leaving because they’re tired of being treated like this is they’re first job out of school.

We appreciate your feedback regarding your experience as an HCM Account Executive. As we scale to the growth our organization is experiencing, our Sales team has undergone much change. We are proud of the resilience much of our Sales team has displayed through this change. We have a leadership team in place that is committed to setting-up our Sales organization for success and is working to provide them all of the resources to do so. I’d love the opportunity to discuss your feedback further. Please email me at gberkheiser@paylocity.com. Thank you!

Pros

Modern office but that gets old fast

Cons

You will be expected to work well beyond 40 hours for an entry level job. You cannot take vacation 25% of the year. You go to work sick because you will behind so much that it is worse to stay home. It is a chop shop/fool’s gold. They burn you out and replace you. Stay away.

Pros

The technology is good. The UI is strong.

Cons

Sales territories are NOT created equal. If you are friends with your manager or a member of the “club”, if you can intimidate your manager into a good territory, if you’re manager is your girlfriend, you will be fine. You’ll get a big patch to work. If you’re just an average person, an average rep is all you will ever be! You can’t compete with the special people who have territories two or three times the size of yours. It was the most unfair company I have ever worked for. The idea of a “level playing field” isn’t in Paylocity’s lexicon. When I joined it was a great culture. Those days are over.

Hi, and thank you for sharing your feedback. I am happy to hear you believe in our technology. I am disappointed you feel you weren't given a fair territory. We take great care in selecting territories and ensuring all reps are given the ability to be successful. I am always open to specific feedback and would love to discuss in further detail.
