Pros

Exit process was clean and simple.

Cons

Culture was actually awesome before they went Public. Then it was Imp Consultants overworked, underpaid, stomped on when they couldn't meet unattainable expectations set by Sales, underappreciated, with ZERO accountability within any department. Just like any other payroll company at this point with a "just do it cause we need the numbers" attitude. They used to thrive on their culture. Now, the TALK is the same, but the actual culture is not. Most positive reviews will be from Sales. Negative ones from all the other departments. Biggest trend I saw towards the end was new hires coming in and thinking it was the greatest company ever, then a year later they were like "heck with this, I can't wait to get out". If you get hired, snuggle up to management, it's the only way to get promoted.

Pros

They are very good at courting their new employees in the beginning

Cons

The culture they promote is quite contrary to the actual experience once working there.

A lot of favoritism and harassment if you land in the wrong department

Pros

Some of the departments are genuinely supportive and want their employees to thrive. If you land in a great team, it can be a truly fantastic job. There are opportunities to thrive.

Cons

Promotion is based on favoritism and "yes man" personality types. If you ask a question or challenge a decision, you will be labeled "difficult". I was identified in a prior review I left here after quitting and my old manager started harassing my former coworkers over it months later. It was much more in-depth, but I removed it due to pressure put on folks I consider friends. It's been nearly a year, and I've heard the department I left has only become more toxic.
