Health plan has a free option for people with limited needs. PTO is fairly generous. about 1 day off per 2 week period. The system is very disorganized with a lot of "work arounds" to make it all sort of function. Patients are always confused and frustrated until they get the hang of it all.
Cons
Smaller hospital nearby pays 2$ more starting pay. PH is chronically short staffed, Physicians are leaving due to overworking/underpay. Most all staff feels this way. Taco bell pays more than a receptionist makes. Some management makes you feel ungrateful.

The radiology dept is comprised of one of the most friendly and helpful group of techs and management I've ever worked with. I credit the radiology supervisor and lead tech for their ability recognize a candidate that would be a good fit in their department because, I do feel very comfortable working here; and I've work in a lot of different x-ray departments - in Portland, California and New Orleans.
Cons
Learning to navigate within the EPIC, Synapes computer applications takes some time as it is not very intuitive and requires lots of memorization. Commuting to Longview from uptown Portland adds 2 .5 hours to my work day but, for me it hasn't been too bad.
