      Healthcare...... oh and the 401k matching.

      Management really sucks, They give you little time to do company edu (you cant do it on your off time either), and whats worse is were a healthcare facility with no AED..... how sad is that?! Our manager is more concerned with new furniture and a remolded kitchen rather than her employees. Truth be told..... were so open for a massive lawsuit its not even funny.

      The laboratory is well run and organized. I have a great department manager who keeps things running smoothly.

      Cons

      PeaceHealth bought our lab a few years back. We were told by the CEO that things would stay"the same or better". Immediately after the change our overtime after eight hours was cut. Our number of vacation days were cut as well. This is not "same or better". Health care requires an atmosphere of honesty, transparency and trust. These values have eroded over the past few years. Unionization has seemed to be the only way to guarantee that administration will treat us in a respectable manner.
