      Decent Pay, Poor Management

      Pros

      The pay is good and there are usually annual raises, the benefits are good and I really like my co-workers.

      Cons

      Managers and Directors don't care about their staff as people and nobody trusts them. No growth opportunities unless you are one of their "pet" people which ends up in unqualified people in leadership positions who also treat regular employees poorly. Not allowed to ask questions without becoming a target, coding books are not provided, and retaliation is REAL here.

      My observations of PeaceHealth Eugene/Springfield

      Pros

      PeaceHealth is a non-profit that was started by some amazing nuns that saw a need and did something about it. Their vision and mission are inspiring to me.

      Cons

      Way too top-heavy with management. They don't seem to inspire the loyalty and dedication that they used to. Upper management lacks a clear vision and the courage to actually do their jobs. Takes forever to get anything done now
