A downside is that management does not support people that are lower on the chain. They only care about themselves.

Middle management hardly there too many layers of responsibilities that they don't know what is really happening in their various units.Everything communicated by email but you can't see it at home so if you are gone seems like hundreds of emails waiting once back at work.
