Pros

Supportive of internal growth. Loyal to employees.

Cons

Employees don't feel taken care of financially when it comes to salary, supplies, and support in the work environment. Union protects all nurses- good or bad.

Pros

Plenty overtime work hours available Extra 20 dollar per hr on top base pay when there is critical need

Cons

Atrocious Nurse to Patient ratio because the facility is typically: Sorely understaffed Filthy work environment A culture of vicious gossip that is sickening No real staff appreciation Support staff, that is, Techs/Mental Health Workers, could use more education and refinement.
