Pros

Positive culture, open-door policy, great team spirit, competitive pay, opportunities for personal and professional growth, peers who genuinely care for you, quality supervision

Cons

Poor vacation package, under-staffed, stuck between small and big-sized company management mentalities (sometimes formal, sometimes not—this toes the line of toxic management), rapidly growing (can be a pro, but this can lead to over-worked staff

Pros

Lots of companies try to pitch the "family" bit, but here they actually give a s***. I don't care if you're an hourly part time employee here, if you wanted or need to speak with the CEO his door is open. Compensation is competitive with annual raises, and bonuses for most employees. The company continues to grow, and every choice they make is with patient care and their employees in mind. This is the type of company that I genuinely expect to be sad leaving when the day comes, one I look back fondly on.

Cons

Company growth can sometimes outpace their ability to staff. This is due in part to hiring shortages, but also to their desire for quality candidate; while the reasons are sound, this does not negate the fact that there can sometimes be strain on the current employees. As a smaller company, opportunities for upward or adjacent moves can sometimes feel limited. Most staff will experience the 24/7 nature of the company's communication that, without very strict personal boundaries, will bleed into your personal time. The company does not demand your personal time, but that doesn't preclude it from asking.

Pros

1. I feel like this job is making a huge difference in the lives of people. 2. It's really rewarding to be a part of a good mission. 3. In general, co-workers are very good people. 4. Rapidly growing company leads to many new opportunities, there are many opportunities to advance. 5. Usually the leadership team is very generous with bonuses and year end gifts. 6. Some positions qualify for free/discounted continuing education.

Cons

1. Leaders show favoritism among employees. Getting new positions and raises does seem to correlate with how favored you are with one of the directors. 2. Base pay is often not competitive with correlating job at a similar company. 3. Rapidly growing company has led to some growing pains, including new staff not yet being accustomed to their roles. To be expected.
