Pros

The team is truly fantastic, young and friendly atmosphere.

Cons

There's definitely a hierarchy when it coms to the "old school" team members, and newbies - if you haven't been part of the "inner circle of truth" from the foundation of the company, then you will always be second class. Unlimited time off is a joke. Very often leadership imposes "blackout" periods when team members are forbidden to take time off (usually summer and holidays!). And when you do take a day or 2 here in there, you won't leave without knowing very well that your colleagues will be (even more overworked) because of you. Leadership likes to say they "only hire 10s", which basically means you have to give your life to the company - god forbid if you need a break from working 14+ hours a day & weekends! I felt very sorry for colleagues who had family and kids! Wanting/needing a break is seeing as "not being a 10" - many people have been terminated in 2020 under this excuse. Salaries are very below market and they know it. CEO and C-Suite leaders keep saying how much the company is growing and making millions every year, but still, they use the "we are a small company" excuse to keep paying peanuts.

Pros

- GREAT coworkers - they really hire 10s - Fast paced and lots of market opportunity - You are granted full autonomy, little micromanagement - 401K match

Cons

- WAY below market rate for pay. Not many other perks, unless you love ping pong, In addition, salary increases are near impossible to get, and not even annual raises are provided. - Leadership has lost touch and seem to be focused on squeezing as much out of their employees as possible. There is no work life balance, no plan for coverage when employees take "unlimited PTO" besides piling that work on your team. I was made to feel bad several times when taking a few days of vacation because it would mean my team had to cover, and we were already swamped - If you push back or give honest feedback, you will likely be punished and miss opportunities, given bad performance reviews, or terminated - Clear favoritism among a select group of employees - No transparency from leadership - Leadership frequently takes away bonuses / change the bonus structure on a whim without informing you - The lack of infrastructure/technology / foresight leads to constant "fires" and stress
