      - Hands-on and very involved in decisions/operations - Global workforce allows you to connect with new people and share new perspectives - Great benefits offering

      Cons

      - High attrition in recent years, especially in upper management, making it challenging to maintain consistent work that aligns to company strategy - Shifting to in-office preferability, leaving those remote workers feeling left out - Lack of synchronous systems, processes, and people - work in silos and expected to work with somewhat unrealistic timelines

      My experience working remote with Velocity has been amazing so far. HR team is dedicated and makes you feel welcome. The customer care team leadership and guidance is very participative and patient with new employees

      Pros

      Truly some of the most passionate people work here. This is a typical workplace, you will have your high achievers, your worker bees, and your detractors. Reviews will have you trying to believe it is all negative but it i'snt, in fact it is very generic and you will find the same archetypes no matter where you go. That said, there are people who care about you and your career so the support has been awesome. There is a fair bit of autonomy for a lot of roles. Yes you have your daily R&Rs but people are open to feedback and improvements - again not everyone, but thats life! There is the option to put in as much extra effort as you want so that you gain the experience you want.

      Cons

      There is still growth to be done especially in the Sr. Leadership area. With lots of moving pieces and speed things items can fall through the cracks and instead of fixing it, things can often be swept away, but as long as you keep a steady head things are open to being fixed.
