      Pros

      Remote oriented! Organized, good communication tools, team structure is clear, excellent training/onboarding structure, and upward mobility. Culture is +++ the best I've ever seen. Excellent benefits package that you are expected to take advantage of. ;)

      Cons

      Not much negative. It is a lot of information, not for the faint of heart. Expansion and updates are standard as they constantly strive to enhance and improve tools. For someone who embraces change and enjoys a good challenge.

      Decent company for contractors

      Pros

      I worked with Velocity Global as my company for a contract on behalf of a job search company. It started out great with a good supervisor who let me do my work with minimal supervision.

      Cons

      A couple of months into my contract, we ended up with a new supervisor who was a much better individual contributor than manager. I was made to feel like I had to work all the time, even beyond regular working hours, to contribute to the team. Eventually, I was let go with very little notice ahead.

      Wow, that's not cool. Truly sorry you had this experience, especially after things started off so well. Different managers have different management styles, and sometimes this happens. Unfortunately for us, and on the surface, it appear this was handled poorly and rather than gain a lifelong friend and advocate, we disappointed you and didn't live up to our values. Thanks for sharing. I will raise this matter in our managers' meeting with the hope it proves to be a teachable moment. Some managers, particularly those new to management, don't always know the best way to tactfully manage situations. We all get better when we are willing to listen, and when someone is willing to share experience and teach us.
