Thanks fellow colleague for sharing your thoughts. You knocked our CEO:( Having worked for many CEO's I think he is awesome. Truly sorry you feel this way though. In the 25+ years I have worked in the Silicon Valley, I have never worked for a more thoughtful and kinder, CEO. That being said, I am truly sorry you feel the way you do. Thanks for complimenting our fellow colleagues, they too are amazing. We help one another, encourage and push one another to be our best and do our best "werk" while also being mindful of life work balance. Thanks for props. As for our systems, I am laughing inside because I agree. But just last year, we were a small company, less than three hundred people, and yes, some of our systems need to be upgraded. We have grown to more than 700 "owner-employees" in just six short months. Our systems are being overhauled as we write this. All of this rapid change is happening at a time when we are experiencing record growth. Our company is in the perfect position to take advantage of the post pandemic (Covid-19) economy, which has forced employers to find ways to hire and pay their remote workers. Talk about hitting a "gold mine", we did and we are now right in the middle of it. Keep pushing, things are getting better every day. Global Talent Acquisition Team- We got you.

Pros

It's fully remote and super flexible, so I can work anywhere anytime. (even abroad)

Cons

Not really a team job but more like a freelance style. No raise or promotion.

Hello fellow colleague, Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. To your point about flexibility and work, yes, as an organization we are extremely flexible giving employees the ability to work just about any place on the planet. To this end, we have a couple of programs that actually encourage it. For example, we have our Outreach Program which enables employees to take one trip a year, after one year of employment, to any country where we have supported employees. We also have our CoWerk World Retreats, an employee led initiative where employees decide which country they want to visit. They organize a trip, secure an AirBnB and meet to CoWerk for upwards of two to three weeks at a time. This year a larger group of us are traveling to Colombia in March and Spain in July. You should join us. Regarding your point about raises and promotion. The industry standard for promotions is about three years (please google this). However, employees are eligible for raises every six months depending upon performance. In this last review cycle which ended in February, more than 85% of employees received a raise and a bonus. Ultimately, we want all our colleagues to succeed here at Velocity Global. Thank you for all you do for the company and our clients. And thanks again for your feedback. Global Talent Acquisition
