Pros

- Peek has an awesome work hard play hard culture. I work with many talented people that are unassuming and always ready to help each other - Great business with strong leadership team that is quick to adapt... supported by a kickass product that is loved by partners/customers - Leadership team takes time to share company progress and significant events with employees - Dynamic, high energy, environment where employees get to wear multiple hats. Ample opportunities to stretch, learn, and contribute. - Weekly Peek-nic lunches where business leaders, VC's, and Peek customers/partners will join Peek employees to share their experience and perspectives. - Free breakfast every morning. Dinner is also provided for employees that work a little later in the evening. - Employees receive monthly Peek.com credit to be used toward any activity on peek.com

Cons

- Peek is a high-energy, high intensity startup. If you are looking for a 9-5 job, this is not going to be the right place for you - You will need to be comfortable working with, and developing, bootstrap processes and workarounds as Peek is still a very young organization - While there are many culture/team enhancing benefits such as Peek-nics, happy hours, chef-prepared meals, and frequent company events, Peek does not yet offer 401K or FSA/HSA. The health benefits coverage is also fairly basic.

The Best Career Choice I've Ever Made

Pros

You're given awesome responsibilities from day 1, because the team and your manager(s) trust(s) you to do the job. I am so grateful for all of the things I've learnt and how valued I was. I miss Peeksters everyday–they are among the smartest people I've ever worked with. Peek's culture is unique, and very hard to find!

Cons

The long working hours can be stressful, but it's pretty classic for start ups anyway. Definitely not a 9 to 5 kind of job but if that's what you're looking for, you shouldn't even consider joining a start up at all.

Pros

The people that work here are really positive, and it stems down from the top. Some of the things they do like "Peek Props" (thank you cards written out twice a week) are a little cheesy at first, but make for a great environment to work in.

Cons

The only real con is that since it is a start up you need to have a 'bootstrap' type attitude to fit in.
