Pros

Good Pay, flexible hours. Small company feel

Cons

Many branches are locally owned, so your experience can vary greatly from location to location. My branch is family owned, and all of the owners kids are in the top positions, so there’s really no room for advancement.

Pros

Everybody knows everybody, very good for networking. You get plenty of training and learn a LOT about Windows and doors. The bonus we got every year was nice, as was the profit sharing. Apparently the health care plan is good but I personally didn’t use it. It could also depend on your team, but I really enjoyed the flexibility of the hybrid schedule.

Cons

Pay is not competitive and the PTO policy is terrible. They are very “behind the times”. Only 13 days of PTO the whole year with no sick days and 8 holidays. You only accrue one more day of PTO after working there 4 years, and you can only get one extra day every other year after that, at most.
