Pros

Easy money, good benefits,401k sick time & 2wks+ vacation Week off (no pay) between Xmas & new year. Fairly laid back work environment. **Depending who you work with**

Cons

•There point system for tardies & call outs is not very family friendly •work is based on demand. You could work OT ever week for a year or you could work 2-3 days a week for a year. •department managers lack respect for employees. MANY employees left 3rd shift due to the the newest managers. They expect work horses and give very little respect

Pros

Strong culture in respectful accountability to high achievement and continuous improvement in process, people, and performance. Success and above average results are not optional, but the company values people first in order to achieve the success and results we get. Pella fosters the best out of almost everyone that works here through integration of teamwork and training. I have worked at multiple places prior to this, and there are pros and cons to all of them. But I did not realize until I got here what "great" really meant when referring to a place to have a career.

Cons

It is a very large company and it is easy to get lost in the vastness of what all happens throughout the entirety of the company. Can feel like you are not making a big enough impact if you are used to being at a smaller company where the same results would have been game changing for the smaller company and only marginal improvement for a company this size. However, with time and the right leader you will come to realize that you are just as important if no more in this company despite its size.
