Pros

Quick hiring process and start date.

Cons

Didn't care for the department manager and most co-workers' attitudes, fast pace and more.

Pros

Stable company. Coworkers feel like family. Opportunities to move up if you work for it. Decent pay.

Cons

Archaic technology and systems though seeing improvement. Pella's values are great in theory, but the employee moral at every level impacts these values and the desired culture negatively. Managers only get paid overtime for the hours their lines are scheduled. Required to come in early or stay late without compensation - max out at 18 hours overtime per week (58 hour work week) but realistically work 65-70 hours per week. Work-life balance is nonexistent 9 out of 12 months of the year when working 6 days a week every week. Turnover is over 50% which creates more overtime for current employees and a constant training environment. It's an endless cycle.

Pros

The job overall isn't too bad. You typically get to rotate to different spots after every rotation (break). The benefits are pretty good. The thing that could be good/bad, however you look at it, are the hours. During the summer time, you can EASILY get up to 56 hours a week. Pay is every Friday. Seems to be a decent amount of opportunities to move up from within. Paid holidays off.

Cons

Like I said above, the hours can REALLY start to get too much. Working 56 hours almost every week can drain the body and really tire you from working. The super long hours also really hinder having a life outside of work.
