      Pros

      Important to note that many reviews here are from people who work for independent sales branches who have a close relationship with Pella, but are not Pella Corporation. So always ask whether you're considering Pella Corporation or an independent. Both offer strong advantages of excellent product and engineering, strong customer focus.

      Cons

      Must be willing to work hard. Don't try it if you're not. Don't bring any unethical habits either as you won't be successful with any of that behavior.

      Ever-changing compensation plan. They don't value your time.

      Pros

      Good product. Good name recognition.

      Cons

      They don't value sales reps' time. Since this is a commission only sales job, they can hire as many reps as they see fit. The problem is when there are only enough leads for 3 sales reps to run, and they go ahead and hire 6. The manager ends up with a choice. Do I equally distribute the leads, so that everyone starves, or just go ahead and keep feeding the leads to my top guys, so I don't lose them, to heck with the rest of them.

      Pros

      Fun and relaxed work environment. Opportunities to advance if you want them and work hard. Not all branches are corporate owned but are small local businesses (sometimes a con).

      Cons

      Unorganized and wavering goals as a company. Training is limited to none. Most people without the "I can do" or "I'll figure it out" drives fail or struggle. Some things are pushed under the rug allowing long time employees to basically run the place or do things like talk to managers without respect.
