Pros

Pay is decent, medical benefits are decent too

Cons

Lack of communication, management shows favoritism and doesn't care who sees it, reworked hours for more "family time", I'm gone from home and family now more and get less hours due to these changes. They can never stick to a schedule. You work all week, sometimes you don't. Certain managers discriminate against breast feeding moms.

Pros

I met some really good friends working here.

Cons

inconsistent hours and work/life balance. your hours will change daily making it extremely difficult to plan anything on your off time. rampant favoritism they have a continuous improvement department with frequent teams to improve productivity, but it's always the same people on these teams and rarely people who work in the area that they are attempting to improve. management at my site was more akin to a fraternity. a lot of "yes men" and finger pointing with little accountability for their departments. training is insanely overlooked. you spend a few hours, for one week in a class for the HR side of things, then you go to your area and are handed a paper you are required to sign stating you understand how to operate the machine(s) BEFORE you have even attempted to operate. supposedly there are certified trainers but in my time here I have only met two. If you are injured at work, be prepared to advocate for yourself because they will fight you and push as much blame onto you as possible. They have a evaluation system here for raises but a lot of the items on the evaluation are not available for everybody so it really just comes down to how much they like you. if you are good at your job, and are attempting to apply for better positions, your manager might go out of their way to hold you down and question your aspirations.

Pros

Good Pay, flexible hours. Small company feel

Cons

Many branches are locally owned, so your experience can vary greatly from location to location. My branch is family owned, and all of the owners kids are in the top positions, so there’s really no room for advancement.
