Pros

- Talent on the front lines are great people, passionate and better than the company gives them credit for - Resume builder for those lucky enough to advance - Money is good

Cons

- Culture is far from the CEOs vision, and gets thrown to the wayside as you get lower on the chain - No work life balance unless you are lucky to have a manager that respects their employees and values their time - Lots of out of pocket expenses, company expects employees to foot the bill for events, temporary relocations, and travel - Corporate management micromanages everything on the front lines - Corporate management does not practice what they preach when it comes to coaching, documentation or termination - When something is not what is expected there is no coaching, training or support from the corporate team, they turn to documentation and set employees up to be terminated - The common conversation is everyone fears daily that today could be their last day, it’s at will and they take full advantage of that - Corporate management keeps everything a secret, front lines are in the dark on operating costs, controllable and uncontrollable expenses, profits, and loses making it hard to run and drive a new and growing business successfully - Job security is nonexistent and the longevity of employees is 2-3 years

Pros

- The product (hardware and entertainment) is still the best in the industry and is absolutely beloved by its users - Great work life balance - Great benefits and the salaries are generally industry standard for big tech

Cons

- Decisions made by former leadership team through the pandemic haunt the company today and will likely continue to embattle the companies for years. That combined with some of the cons below will make hiring incredibly difficult because the lack of a dependable upside on equity (even at the current low price) - Lack of ability to innovate in a way that drives growth. The tread, guide (strength camera), and rower either all sold very little or will sell very little because they appeal to very few additional customers beyond the exiting user base. - Top down decision making to a dangerous level. Most people blindly do what Barry asks or wait for his approval before making even small bets - No real collaboration amongst teams leading to constant prioritization requests and lengthy discussions to make even the smallest of decisions.

Pros

Pay, work from home right now

Cons

Management will retaliate against you if they feel threatened after you make a complaint on them. Suddenly they start digging and looking for something to write you up about and will look at all your tickets suddenly trying to target you and find something that they can try and say you did wrong. Management and leadership displays a facade of being “supportive and a family culture” to everyone when you’re in training. But as soon as you express your concerns about something inappropriate that they did, they will start to target you and try to get you fired. I initially liked starting my shifts everyday but now I dread it. Management/leadership is very shady and not to be trusted and they will stick together and go against the employee no matter what. Watch out. I would not recommend this company.
