Extremely great benefits, but not much else.

Pros

Company has great benefits, PTO, sick leave, personal time, etc. They also have additional time off awarded after a certain length of employment by way of multi-week sabbaticals. Employee discounts on products distributed as well. Great Management and Supervisory Teams.

Cons

Salaries are not often very competitive, raises are miniscule and have no reflection of performance. There are very little opportunities for growth within the company for the majority of employees.

Pros

Great place to work. The benefits are some of the best you can get, and for the book lovers the perks are extra special.

Cons

The same can be said for all working in publishing, but the salary could be higher for the work we do, but most are in publishing not for the pay but for our love of books.
