Pros

Serving as the Development Director at Peninsula Behavioral Health has been an incredibly meaningful and professionally rewarding experience. PBH’s mission to “provide quality comprehensive behavioral health services to the residents of Clallam County” is deeply felt in every aspect of the work, and it has been fulfilling to contribute to something so impactful. The executive leadership team is approachable and genuinely invested in both staff well-being and client outcomes. Like many not-for-profits, the pace can be fast and the workload demanding—but the supportive culture and clear sense of purpose to provide invaluable services to our community members help balance those challenges. Overall, PBH is a mission-driven organization where passionate professionals can thrive while making a real difference.

Cons

Like many not-for-profits, PBH operates with a limited budget and continues to provide services to all clients in need.

Pros

All employees strive to support our community. Staff are compassionate and empathetic. Excellent place to work, grow, and make a difference in the lives of others.

Cons

It's community mental health. We deal with people who are often having one of their worst days. It can be difficult and exhausting.
