Pros

None now! Bought by Penn Foster

Cons

It's over! Bought by Penn Foster. Tons of employees laid off at both places but Ashworth got hit worse, so far! They lied!

Pros

Good pay and a kind environment. I've enjoyed working for such a caring company.

Cons

Favoritism in the departments and no room to grow without a bachelors degree

Pros

None any more, since Penn Foster took over

Cons

When Penn Foster took over in February 2019, they initially told us they were planning to "grow both companies". Well, that turned out to be BS. They apparently told us that to keep people from jumping ship before PF had convinced them to do a brain dump of all their professional and institutional knowledge. The fired everyone in marketing and finance within two months, and have apparently started redirecting enrollments to the parent organization. Ashworth is slowly being digested by PF, and will probably not exist as anything but a call center servicing a continually shrinking pool of enrollments within a couple of years.
