Business Outlook
Pros
Multi-disciplinary environment, and numerous offices around the Northeast, ensures that there is a fair amount of diversity in the types of projects you work on and the overall career path, if that is what you are looking for. Attacts generally good people, as employees.
Cons
As in most civil engineering companies, pay levels are structured so that you are just comfortable enough to get by, but that's it. Unfortunately, it is difficult to significantly increase your pay from year-to-year without either being promoted to management or threatening to leave. Also, when profits are perceived to decline (as they do from time to time), staff training is generally the first thing to be cut. This is costly to both employer and employee.
