Pros

The community and individual departmental teams are welcoming and always delivering a smile. Leader, supervisors, and engineers are understanding and focused and really appreciate each team member's presence. Our role is to provide quality expertise to products that will be used in patient lives and ensure the company's brand is held to the utmost standard. Workers here have laughs and giggles here and there, but the genuineness in work ethic is apparent in most (if not all) hires. Generous company benefits which include retirement plan and stellar company gym.

Cons

Some of the scheduling and time management systems seem to need work to improve process efficiency. There is a good amount of cliquey-ness, as expected when entering a corporate environment. Compensation may be on the lesser end when considering the geographical area the company is located.

Pros

I have worked at Penumbra for seven months now and I couldn't be happier. I feel the company's leaders and executive team have the best interest of their customers and the employees at heart. The company is growing fast, but not too fast, the future looks bright and Penumbra's primary challenge is tying to find the best candidates to bring to the campus. The HR team and is kind and all are friendly - it is like a family. I find, Adam, the CEO super approachable and grounded -- he is relateable. I work in a super supportive atmosphere, my colleagues are genuinely kind and my boss is the best I have ever had! It may sound like I'm drinking the Koolaid, but I find the work rewarding and the people make "work" seem effortless. I have seen a lot of people promoted since I have arrived. The campus itself is nice - it takes me back to college life, and I LOVE that it a majority women run company and most of the employees, engineers are young.

Cons

The only cafe/restaurant on campus is overpriced. I wish it had larger parking spots and larger bathroom stalls, but I am clearly reaching.
