Not a secure employer

Pros

Individual managers and services are great places to work

Cons

Senior Management and head office view their staff as dispensable at best. I have seen them throw good staff to the side and employ people during times when they are trying to get further local authority funding without warning them they could be made redundant before even completing their probationary period. Staff turnover is horrendous even by industry standards is terrible here for a reason.

Vapid

Pros

All of the pros of working at this company are readily available at any other company. Nothing stands out

Cons

Vapid, soulless work. Whatever the department or position within any department, your work can be summed up with "siloed over specialization." You won't be challenged and you don't matter here. In fact, I strongly recommend you can leave your brain at home. It's the only way to maintain any semblance of sanity because creative problem solving isn't encouraged here. Just stay in your lane and stay the course
