Pros

None worth mentioning except you get paid maybe

Cons

Poor communication and follow-up over the course of several months. Disorganized interview scheduling; one interviewer joined late and asked me to inform HR of her attendance. Awkward interview experience with some interviewers not turning on their video, while asking me to keep mine on. Lack of transparency in the process and significant delays between interview rounds (30+ days without responses).

Pros

Highly impactful projects, smart and cool coworkers, no two days are the same. Many opportunities for projects/experience.

Cons

This is a difficult job. Line support can be brutal. Ask about it if you are interviewing. When I was interviewing, expectations were not made clear to me about supporting production during swing shift (4pm-midnight). Many long, difficult days of being on the production floor all day and then late into swing shift. Engineers are expected to support the line, write non conformance reports, and pursue continuous improvement projects at the same time. Very little time to think or enjoy work. Compensation is below average and benefits are bare minimum for a corporate job. Retention for engineers is a major problem.
