Pros

- Good learning experience - had opportunity to juggle multiple roles and projects - mostly young company

Cons

- promotions are not always deserved, some are definitely not merited - inefficient when handling large project, wasting long hours focusing on irrelevant details instead of the main issues. The result is everyone is overworked and underpaid. - poor leadership and management style. Only one person makes the decisions. Reviews do not account for much if you get on their bad side.

Pros

My direct team, and many others, had many lovely people who wanted to do a good job.

Cons

Decisions made at the highest level of the company negatively impacted company morale and work ethic, as well as the company's ability to successfully innovate. Nepotism is very present, unqualified relatives of high ranking employees were put in positions of leadership that negatively impacted the business. You cannot really expect much different from a public company.
