Pros

Most people are passionate about the cause, program staff works to the best of their ability to impact homeless clients

Cons

CEO is disconnected from company, upper management over payed and rest of staff payed meagerly wages despite having to work insane hours, management is not properly trained to mentor and supervise employees, money mismanaged. Upper management is not racially diverse.

Pros

Large homeless population in San Jose. Great resources in the community including the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library. PATH has some great grants. Co-workers heart in a great place; however, they are afraid to speak up to management regarding working conditions including taking time off for doctor appointments.

Cons

Payroll makes mistakes on paychecks, then deactivates the direct deposit without telling employees they are correcting the amount. Checks bounce. When you inform management they give you the staff directory and tell you they do not know the number. I do not have any contact with Human Resources. Do NOT work here.

Pros

Great organization to sharpen your skills. Possible growth depending on who's doing the hiring.

Cons

Weak management, doesn't listen to line staff. Misconception of what follow through really means.
